Pointsbet Sportsbook has become the official gaming partner of the Detroit Red Wings and Little Caesars Arena.
The partnership is just the latest in a string of similar deals, including a team-up with the NBA’s Detroit Pistons and a partnership with the MLB’s Detroit Tigers.
The partnership includes a rebrand of Sports and Social Detroit at Little Caesars Arena. The space will become the PointsBet Sports Bar and include a full-service menu, HD TVs, live betting odds, and more.

PointsBet’s Michigan Partnership Roster
PointsBet teamed up with the Detroit Tigers in July 2020. The Australia- and Denver-based operator kicked off 2020 with a Pistons partnership. It’s now rounded out its roster to include the NHL’s Detroit Red Wings.

Michigan Nears Online Sports Betting Launch
PointsBet’s recent announcements come as no surprise considering the Great Lakes State is nearer than ever to launching online sports betting and online casinos. In fact, Michiganders could place bets as soon as next week according to the Michigan Gaming Control Board.
For some, that launch can’t come soon enough, given Detroit casinos’ massive revenue losses in 2020. Online gaming revenue is expected to offset losses caused by Covid-19 related closures.
Expect PointsBet to join the fray in Michigan as soon as regulations allow. The most likely scenario seems to be a January go-live.
