10 high hold’em Golden Casino game:
Golden Casino’s 10 High Hold’em is one of the most popular forms of online poker today. Casino hold’em has three possible payout scenarios – Initial, 10Bonus, and Bonus payouts.
Like normal poker, the game is played using a 52 card deck with the Jokers removed from the game. The player ultimately competes against the dealer. 10 High Hold’em will create the best possible 5-card hand for the player and for the dealer as well, from a selection of 7 cards. The value of the cards in the player’s hands is then compared with the dealer’s hand.
If the player gets a hand value higher than the dealer’s, then the player wins. If both the player and the dealers have an equal hand value, the game is a tie and the Ante bet is returned.
Bonus payouts are independent from the result of the game. The payouts for 10+ and Bonus bets are based on the respective pay tables.
Playing 10 High Hold’em
When playing Golden Casino’s 10 High Hold’em for the first time, the game table the player sees will be empty, and the player’s bet is defaulted to $1.00
A player may start the game by placing an Initial bet, and then a 10Bonus bet. An Initial bet must always be placed prior to the 10Bonus bet. Players may choose to add a Bonus bet if they desire. Once all bets have been placed, the player clicks on the Deal button.
Both player and the dealer get a ”hole” card each (faced down card). The dealer will then discard the top card in the deck (burn card). The dealer deals 3 more cards, or the “flop” cards.
The burns another card, and deals one more card called the “turn” card. The dealer will burn the final card and deal another card called the “river”. The five cards dealt face-up are called the “community cards” and will be used by the player and dealer to form a five-card poker combination. The three burn cards will remain facedown. The game’s system automatically selects the 5 card poker, and will calculate the winnings depending on the type of the bet placed. The dealer’s hole cards are exposed, and the player’s hand is compared to the dealer’s.
Initial bet: The player forms poker combination with the use of the hole cards and the community cards.
10+ bet: The player must form a combination with at least one hole card. One of the cards must also be a 10.
Bonus bet: Both of the player’s hole cards should be used to make a winning combination.
