X Marks the Spot Symbols
Golden Casino’s X marks the spot has the Cannon as their scatter symbol. This game symbol does not have to appear in an activated payline to win. The symbol will pay in any direction, and may be scattered anywhere on the five reels, so long as there are two or more cannon symbols appearing in the game.
If a player wins a scatter win plus a regular win, he is paid out for both. The win of the scatter symbols are added to the total winnings of the pay line.
The game’s wild card symbol is a pirate symbol. This pirate symbol substitutes for almost any other symbol for winning combinations except for the cannon symbol and the treasure map symbol.
The game has two bonus features – one for free spins, and the Treasure bonus.
The free spin bonus round is activated when a player lands three or more cannon or the symbols anywhere on the game. The player may win 15 free spins depending on the number of scatter symbols the player lands. The winnings here are then tripled.
When a player lands a Treasure Map symbol on the 1st, 3rd and 5th reels on any active pay line, the treasure bonus is activated. The whole screen changes to a map and featuyres such as “Lobby” will be disabled until the player finishes the round.

The key will open the Golden Chest full of gold. The amount of gold the player receieves may be equal to half, or one and a half of the player’s total treasure amount. The treasure amount is added to your normal game’s balance.
