BetMGM Adds Several New Casino Games In Michigan

Just in time for the start of the National Football League season, BetMGM has added two new casino games for the Michigan market featuring the Detroit Lions. The gaming operator has also added six other games to their roster in the state.

With Detroit Lions Blackjack and Detroit Lions Roulette (both developed by gaming company Evolution), gamblers can play casino games branded after their favorite NFL team. The Lions start their 2021 season on September 12, when they host the San Francisco 49ers at Ford Field. The Lions will enter the season without Matthew Stafford under center for the first time in more than a decade. The team traded their star quarterback to the Rams in a big deal last offseason. Former Ram Jared Goff will be at QB for Detroit.

BetMGM also unveiled Bellagio Fountains of Fortune (by GVC), a slots game that previously had been launched in New Jersey in July. Two games by High5: Fort of Fortune and Retro Riches, are also part of the new Michigan release from BetMGM. The former is a medieval-themed slot game, and the latter is a slot game that features remnants of old school arcade games in the experience.

Coin O’ Mania, from gaming developer IGT, Vegas Night Life (Netent), and Marvelous Mouse Coin Combo (from SGDigital), round out the new casino offerings from BetMGM in Michigan. All three are slot casino games debuting in the Great Lakes State.

Online Casino Gambling in Michigan

Online casinos debuted in Michigan earlier in 2021, after the state passed legislation legalizing online betting in 2019. BetMGM’s online casino website and app debuted in May of this year.

Users can choose from more than 200 casino games at BetMGM’s online casino, most of them exclusive. The BetMGM sportsbook is also operational in Michigan, offering odds for MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, the Olympics, and many other sporting activities.
