Just in time for summer, the BetMGM sportsbook and casino apps are now available to Michigan residents in the Google Play Store for Android.
Previously there were no options for Michigan players who wanted to download the BetMGM sportsbook and casino apps from Google Play Store, which did not allow gaming apps. Users can now simply download the casino or sportsbook apps from the Google Play Store, login, or register as a new player if they do not have an account with BetMGM. As always, players can also download the app from the BetMGM website.
Through their agreement with MGM Grand Detroit, BetMGM has been offering online sports betting and casino play since it launched in Michigan earlier in 2021.
Once you register for the BetMGM sportsbook or casino apps, you can take advantage of their rewards and offers.
BetMGM offers its sportsbook and casino apps in nine states: Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Earlier this month, BetMGM made news when they agreed to take bets on Professional Fighters League competitions in Mixed Martial Arts. As a result, BetMGM now joins DraftKings as the only sportsbooks offering action on that fast-growing sport.
Also earlier in June, BetMGM began offering their sportsbook app for betting within two blocks of Nationals Park in Washington D.C. in a move that signals their commitment to ingenuity and the use of technology in mobile betting, It is expected that BetMGM will open a physical sportsbook at Nationals Park or nearby in the future.
BetMGM also has plans to increase their production and distribution of betting content. In early June they announced a deal with The Hockey News that makes BetMGM the exclusive Sports Betting Partner of that esteemed publication. Both parties will contribute to the creation of sports betting content and entertainment under the arrangement.
Also earlier in 2021, BetMGM revealed that iconic legend Wayne Gretzky, acclaimed as the greatest player in the history of the sport, would be serving as a brand ambassador. In his new role, Gretzky will serve in an advisory capacity and lend his name and image to promoting BetMGM and their gaming products, as well as responsible gaming.
