Kambi Sportsbook Will Launch In Michigan Next Year Via Tribal Partnership

More options will be available for Michigan sports bettors next year, as Kambi will launch a sportsbook in the state in early 2024.

Kambi Group has entered into an agreement with Saginaw Chippewa Gaming Enterprises, part of which will allow Kambi to launch a sportsbook under its name. The deal between the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan and Kambi has multiple levels to promote both brands on several channels in the state.

Online And Retail Sports Betting Included In Partnership

In addition to a joint online sportsbook launch, Kambi and SCGE will offer retail sports betting at both the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mount Pleasant and the Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel in Standish. Both properties are owned and operated by the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan.

“We look forward to helping Saginaw Chippewa Gaming Enterprises deliver exciting sports betting experiences to its patrons,” Chief Executive Officer for Kambi Kristian Nylén said.

Currently, sports betting is not available at the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mount Pleasant or at the Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel.

The Kambi sportsbook would bring the total of sportsbooks in Michigan to more than a dozen, with a few others having also entered into market access agreements with tribes in the state.
