It’s Not Too Late: Updated Super Bowl LV Odds Are In

Super Bowl LV offers several historic possibilities. Tampa Bay quarterback Tom Brady can become the oldest QB to win a title and the first to win with two teams. He could also add to his amazing record by winning his seventh championship.

Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes can win his second Super Bowl title in a row, and at age 25 he would be the youngest QB to accomplish that.

The game will be played on Sunday, February 7, and there are several ways Michigan sports fans can bet on the contest. This includes betting online in Michigan through one of the sportsbooks that launched in January, just in time for Super Bowl betting.

Current Odds for Super Bowl LV for Michigan Betting

The Chiefs remain a 3-point favorite in Super Bowl LV, with the moneyline at -113 at BetRivers. The Buccaneers are at -108.

At BetMGM, (which has a risk-free offer for new members on their first $600 of losses), the line is +3.5 for Kansas City (moneyline of -160, and +135 for Tampa Bay).

Over at FanDuel, the moneyline on the Chiefs is -166, and for the Bucs it’s +144. The point spread on FanDuel is also Kansas City + 3. FanDuel has a great Super Bowl bet boost for new Michigan bettors. Click here to bet $5 on who will win the Super Bowl and win up to $275.

Quarterbacks: Old and Young

The most popular storyline of this Super Bowl is the generational clash of quarterbacks between 43-year old Tom Brady and 25-year old Patrick Mahomes.

When Brady was playing in his first Super Bowl (XXXVI in New Orleans), Mahomes was still learning his alphabet. When Brady played in his fifth Super Bowl (XLVI in Indianapolis), Mahomes hadn’t even finished high school. Since then, Brady has played in four more Super Bowls, and in his tenth Big Game, he’ll face Mahomes, who is making his second straight appearance in the game.

BetRivers offers bettors a chance to gamble on the quarterbacks in a fun way. If Brady completes a pass of at least 43 yards (his age) and Mahomes completes at least 25 passes (his age), you can go +220.

Unusual Bets

There’s little debate that Brady is the NFL’s GOAT QB, and over at BetRivers, you can bundle a bet on GOAT status. If Brady and the Bucs win Super Bowl LV, and hoops GOAT Lebron James and the Lakers go on to win the 2021 NBA Finals, you win +768.

Want to take a flyer on a highly unlikely play? At FanDuel you can bet on whether a field goal attempt will be blocked and returned for a touchdown (which has never happened in Super Bowl play). But if it does happen, you’ll win +10,000.
