NCAA Tournament Odds: Michigan Vs. LSU

In recent years, the University of Michigan’s men’s basketball team has made the Sweet 16 their home address. In 2017, 2018, and 2019, the Wolverines reached the NCAA Tournament’s round of 16. With a win on Monday, they can make it four in a row. (There wasn’t an NCAA tournament in 2020 due to the pandemic).

On Saturday, Coach Dwight Howard’s team easily handled Texas Southern in the first round, even without their star player. Wolverines forward Isaiah Livers suffered a season-ending injury in the Big Ten tournament and will be unable to play in the NCAA tourney.

The Wolverines face #8 seed Louisiana State University on Monday. U of M is a #1 seed and one of only three Big Ten teams left in the tournament, with Iowa and Maryland. Even without Livers, the Wolverines are favored.
